Maine Comedy Festival & Golf Tournament
My name is Ian Harvie, I’m a Comic and fellow Mainer, now based in Los Angeles, but I LOVE to get back to my home state of MAINE. I’m always looking for a reason to come visit.
I also LOVE COMEDY, performing, writing and watching it! I’ve created Maine’s first and only comedy arts celebration with some my most hilarious friends and colleagues in the funny business!
This is our second year and its shaping up to be really effing fantastic!

In addition, I’ve partnered again with the kind folks at the The Bethel Inn Resort, in beautiful western mountain town, Bethel Maine to host this weekend long event. This Resort is absolutely gorgeous with so much to do there. This classic New England resort is surrounded by 200 acres with mountains and lakes on all sides, providing a variety of traditional Inn and luxury townhouse accommodations, offering every possible amenity and activity along with both fine and casual dining. Most of all provide welcoming and friendly service in an atmosphere of casual, country elegance with affordable vacation packages to suit your needs, budget and taste.
The Resort has an 18 hole championship golf course that should not go to waste festival weekend. So we’re also going to be doing something good while we’re there. On FRIDAY, AUGUST 3RD, we’re having a charity golf tournament. Tournament fees include 18 holes, a golf cart, lunch, and tournament prizes!
You might want to take note, this is not your traditional golf tournament! A Comic heckler traveling around the course all day to make your serious game of golf.. well, a little lighter. Ultimately, the message is, let’s raise some money for a great cause, and to NOT take yourself so seriously on the course. We welcome all skill levels to this tournament, remember it’s for charity!
